Lynn Cegelski is a versatile artist whose work spans watercolor, pen and ink, stained glass,
fiber arts, sculpture, and mixed media. Inspired by the Chesapeake Bay and the natural
beauty of Maryland's Eastern Shore, she frequently incorporates found materials such as
driftwood, shells, and sea glass into her artwork. A longtime supporter of regional arts
initiatives, Cegelski's work reflects both artistic craftsmanship and a deep connection to
place.

Diane DuBois Mullaly is an award-winning oil painter known for her impressionist palette knife technique. Painting in oil is her first love. Fascinated by all the ways she can build up the paint, scrape it down, and carve and sgraffito (scratch) into it; she creates images describing the powerful connection she feels to the regional landscape. Her palette knife paintings are purposely loose and sometimes even a little wild, painted with broken facets of color that play off each other. When viewed from about six feet, the paintings come together and feel alive. When viewed up close they are abstract with a beautiful surface quality where each facet of paint catches the light at a different angle, adding a lively sparkle. Her goal is to infuse her paintings with energy, yet also speak quietly with poetic passages. Kris Kelley
Kris Kelley is a stained-glass artist, arts administrator, and survivor whose work explores resilience, transformation, and the healing power of creativity. Drawing inspiration from personal experience and the stories of others, she creates artwork that honors courage while inviting hope and connection.
Kris earned her Master of Fine Arts from Temple University and has spent her career combining artistic practice with community engagement. As Assistant Director of RiverArts in Chestertown, Maryland, she works to support artists, expand access to the arts, and build creative experiences that strengthen the community.
As a survivor of domestic violence, Kris understands the profound role that art can play in giving voice to experiences that are often difficult to express. Through stained glass, a medium transformed by light, she seeks to create pieces that reflect not only loss and hardship, but also resilience, renewal, and the possibility of new beginnings. She believes that, like stained glass, people are not defined by the fractures in their lives, but by the light that continues to shine through them.

Jan Kirsh
Jan Kirsh Studio, St. Michaels, Maryland
Jan Kirsh’s sculptures are the embodiment of a life’s work in concert with nature. Trained in ceramics, sculpture, design and photography, Kirsh turned first to landscape design, fulfilling a desire to work within nature’s parameters. Her extensive background and current practice as a noted landscape and garden designer has proven to be the perfect springboard when visualizing her sculpture – posing and placing each piece in her mind as she views the space.
Kirsh’s return to sculpture in 2004 brought her career full circle. She has created a collection of exuberant fruits and vegetables that range from formidable, six foot Pears and Asparagus to diminutive, 3D-printed, wearable art. With the help of digital technology, the sculpture can be fabricated in virtually any size or color, and in a variety of materials including bronze, resin, fiberglass, and cutting edge new materials for indoor or outdoor display. New work includes 2-Dimension Art Screens that expand her creative portfolio.
Kirsh notes that the Art Screens have been well received as both functional and decorative art. The custom fabricated panels can be free standing indoors or displayed in gardens as artful fences, privacy panels or wall mounted features. Aluminum and Corten steel allow for color customization or a dramatic natural, maintenance-free finish.
Kirsh has exhibited in Philadelphia, New York, and across the Mid-Atlantic including solo shows at Academy Art Museum in Easton, MD., Maryland Hall in Annapolis, MD., The Gay Street Gallery, adjacent to The Inn at Little Washington, VA., the Zenith Gallery in Washington, DC, The Spiralis Gallery, The Talbot County Free Library, and Eat Sprout & Out of the Fire Restaurants in Easton, MD.

Maire McArdle
Marie McArdle is a career magazine art director and has designed covers and editorial pages for national, trade and local lifestyle publications. She is the author and publisher of her children's book, Timothy O'Toole, a cat's tale, which was adapted for stage and performed at the Avalon Theater camp in July 2026. Maire is currently a contract graphic designer for the mental health agency, For All Seasons, producing public service awareness campaigns.
Her small-sized mixed media artwork is characterized by strong composition and layered, textural depth. Maire will collaborate with her husband, Stephen Walker, on this project.

STEPHEN WALKER is a national award-winning artist who has exhibited his oil paintings, pastels, serigraphs, and sculptures for over 38 years. With a Masters degree in sculpture from the University of Memphis, this classically-trained artist was a career art educator in Montgomery County, Maryland. Stephen lives in Easton, teaches ceramics/sculpture at the Academy Art Museum, and is an active member of the Working Artists Forum, St. Michaels Art League, and the American Society of Marine Artists. Walker serves as a Talbot Arts council member and has been curating the TRA Gallery on Dover Street in Easton, which features unrepresented Talbot County fine artists.
