Charlie Barton

Charlie Barton is a respected Eastern Shore artist, designer, and printmaker known for his
innovative mixed-media work. Drawing from a background in graphic design, photography,
and silkscreen printing, Barton creates artwork that combines materials such as wood,
metal, resin, glass, and found objects. His architectural prints and assemblage pieces have
earned recognition throughout the region for their craftsmanship and creativity. Barton's
ability to transform ordinary materials into compelling visual stories makes him a
distinctive voice within Maryland's arts community.
Lynn Cegelski
The Foundry/Denton, Maryland
Lynn Cegelski is a versatile artist whose work spans watercolor, pen and ink, stained glass,
fiber arts, sculpture, and mixed media. Inspired by the Chesapeake Bay and the natural
beauty of Maryland's Eastern Shore, she frequently incorporates found materials such as
driftwood, shells, and sea glass into her artwork. A longtime supporter of regional arts
initiatives, Cegelski's work reflects both artistic craftsmanship and a deep connection to
place.

Märianne Eby is a coquillage artist whose 3-D work imagines all the things that fell off the ship in a bygone era, cradled by the sea and the passage of time. Kris Kelley
Kris Kelley is a stained-glass artist, arts administrator, and survivor whose work explores resilience, transformation, and the healing power of creativity. Drawing inspiration from personal experience and the stories of others, she creates artwork that honors courage while inviting hope and connection.

Kris earned her Master of Fine Arts from Temple University and has spent her career combining artistic practice with community engagement. As Assistant Director of RiverArts in Chestertown, Maryland, she works to support artists, expand access to the arts, and build creative experiences that strengthen the community.

As a survivor of domestic violence, Kris understands the profound role that art can play in giving voice to experiences that are often difficult to express. Through stained glass, a medium transformed by light, she seeks to create pieces that reflect not only loss and hardship, but also resilience, renewal, and the possibility of new beginnings. She believes that, like stained glass, people are not defined by the fractures in their lives, but by the light that continues to shine through them.
Deena Deese Kilmon

Maire McArdle
Marie McArdle is a career magazine art director and has designed covers and editorial pages for national, trade and local lifestyle publications. She is the author and publisher of her children's book, Timothy O'Toole, a cat's tale, which was adapted for stage and performed at the Avalon Theater camp in July 2026. Maire is currently a contract graphic designer for the mental health agency, For All Seasons, producing public service awareness campaigns.
Her small-sized mixed media artwork is characterized by strong composition and layered, textural depth. Maire will collaborate with her husband, Stephen Walker, on this project.

Operating under her business entity, Artist Miriam Moran LLC, her work heavily blends realism and street art to transform public spaces into visual narratives that honor diverse cultural histories, social justice, and personal healing.
​Known for her "Painting for Purpose" initiatives and recent regional festival works, she created the Latin heritage mural "Shine Your Light" on Cedar Street as part of the Cambridge Mural Trail. Her art celebrates culture, heritage, and deep human connection.

Stephen Walker
STEPHEN WALKER is a national award-winning artist who has exhibited his oil paintings, pastels, serigraphs, and sculptures for over 38 years. With a Masters degree in sculpture from the University of Memphis, this classically-trained artist was a career art educator in Montgomery County, Maryland. Stephen lives in Easton, teaches ceramics/sculpture at the Academy Art Museum, and is an active member of the Working Artists Forum, St. Michaels Art League, and the American Society of Marine Artists. Walker serves as a Talbot Arts council member and has been curating the TRA Gallery on Dover Street in Easton, which features unrepresented Talbot County fine artists.
