Protecting Your Online Information
You may be a victim of technology abuse. The Safety Net Project from the National Network to End Domestic Violence has provided resources that can help.

The Technology Safety & Privacy Toolkit for Survivors provides a wealth of information on topics such as setting up passwords, taking screen shots, being "web wise," and protecting yourself when using smart toys and smart cars.
The Technology Safety Plan provides information on the types of technology abuse, tips to identify whether abuse is occurring, what to do if you suspect technology abuse, and recommendations for increasing your digital safety and security.
Documenting Technology Abuse can help you identify increased monitoring and control, uncover trends in how your abuser is abusing technology, and support future legal actions. Click the buttons below to find documentation information from The Safety Net Project as well as the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges.
Trust Your Instincts! If you think you are experiencing technology abuse, you may be, so act accordingly. But Don't Be Rash. Making abrupt changes like getting rid of technology or changing passwords could anger your abuser. Take your time, create and follow a Technology Safety Plan, and contact us at 1-800-927-4673 for assistance.
