Participants dip into frigid waters at inaugural Choptank Chill and Cheer!

Brave plungers came together at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay with the Cambridge MD Rotary Club to take the plunge—or show their support—raising vital funds for the Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence.

We’re grateful to community leaders, including Mayor Lajan Cephas-Bey and Del. Tom Hutchinson, and to everyone who showed up for survivors of domestic violence across Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Together, we proved that even the coldest waters can’t stop a warm, caring community.
